Checklist for new installations
- apt-get install vim mc vim mtr-tiny
- apt-get install aide/integrit/fcheck
- increase the time logs are kept ( /etc/logrotate.conf and /etc/logrotate.d/* )
- add my backported stuff to apt/sources.list
echo "deb http://eyck.forumakad.pl/woody ./" >> /etc/apt/sources.list
- apt-get install thewall ( or use iptables-save/iptables-restore mechanism, or maybe use some prepackaged firewall )
